Koh Mook is a wonderful island in the Andaman Sea in the South West of Thailand to the south of Phuket , Phi Phi Islands and Koh Lanta and to the west of Trang . Location: Morakot Cave is located at Koh Mook, Toward the northwest of Haad Chao Mai National Park, in Koh Li Bong sub-district, Kantang district, Trang province.
It's an unseen Thailand which is located in the west of Muk Island, hidden in the jungle, among the cliffs is the awesome Morakot Cave. The cave entrance is a small passage on the islands western side that is accessible by boat during low tide. The cave itself winds for about 80 meters to the other exit, opening onto a clean white beach with an emerald color open pool which is surrounded by high cliffs.
You can fly directly from Bangkok to Trang Airport one flight a day with the exception of Friday, Saturday and sunday. From the airport the bus will take about 45 minutes to reach the Kuantungku pier and then a longtail boat for 40 minutes to Koh Mook. Or you can fly from Bangkok to Krabi airport (two flights a day) and the bus will transfer you (approximately one hour) to Kuan Tungku Pier and then another 40 minutes by longtail boat to Koh Mook. You might prefer a night train from Bangkok railway station to Trang town or an air-conditioned bus from the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok to Trang town from where the bus will transfer you to Kuan Tungku pier to board a longtail boat to Koh Mook .

Farang Beach :It is a pleasant 30 min. walk from Ko Muk resort, on the opposite side of the island (on the west coast, thus). It is a real paradise beach: wonderful white sand, crystal clear sea, excellent snorkelling with lively corals near by, lush tropical vegetation around.
Rent a sea kayak and explore the many secluded coves and bays around.Great fun for all the family. As a pristine and deserted island, Koh Mook is also famous for fishing, squid fishing and crab netting trips.
